SAP Finance Consultant

Conexus are working with a global consultancy who are thriving in the German market and looking to grow it's SAP Finance team.

In the role of SAP Consultant, you will work in the SAP area and in projects for our customers' mission-critical SAP environments. You will be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Tasks

• Work full-time in the office (various locations in Germany possible) or at the customer's site
• Depending on the project or project phase, remote activities are also possible
• Participation in customer meetings
• Troubleshooting & resolving incidents with strict SLA criteria
• Execution of changes according to defined procedures
• Functional consulting on implementations in your department SAP FI and integration with other systems
• Participation in various project phases such as e.g. SAP implementation, rollout, landscape transformation, data migration, cutover, etc.
• Review of new solutions and suggestions for improvement
• Collaboration with onsite and offshore teams
• Support and advice from the customer, teams and the management of their expectations
• On-call duty outside business hours at rotational level may be necessary if necessary

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in at least one SAP module as a functional consultant
• At least one full cycle end to end implementation and rollout project completed
• Conceptual knowledge and work experience in at least one SAP module
• Ability to resolve incidents in SAP environments
• Good knowledge of best practices
• At least one completed B.Sc or comparable degree
• Willingness to learn new technologies to further develop one's skills and to adapt to different roles depending on the situation
• Very good German and written English
